Notes

Fragment 1 recto, line 3: Editors suggest “probably” λ]εγετε, which is what is translated.
Fragment 1 recto, line 6: The only words in early Christian literature (and the LXX) ending this way are μισουσαν (Ps Sol 12:6; Ep. Diog. 6:6) and πυρεσσουσαν (Mt 8:14). While there is little context, μισουσαν appears to fit the context better but πυρεσσουσαν breaks more naturally at that point.

Fragment 1 recto, line 12: Possibly ημεις or ημερα?
